Kershaw County, SC (WLTX) -- Complaints to the Kershaw County Sheriff's office led to the discovery and arrest of four on drug charges in Cassatt.
Tips from concerned citizens led investigators from the Kershaw County Sheriff's Narcotics Division to a home located on Porter Road in Cassatt, where a search warrant was executed.
Deputies discovered indications that a small methamphetamine lab had been operated in the home, and they seized over a half-pound of marijuana, a small amount of methamphetamine, and one handgun.
Deputies arrested three alleged residents of the home, 24 year-old Larry Alford, 19 year-old Cody Thomas, and 19 year-old Courtney Sheffield, along with 24 year-old Scott Rafalko, residence unknown.
Alford is being charged with Possession with Intent to Distribute marijuana, Thomas faces charges of Possession and Manufacturing of Methamphetamine, and Rafalko and Sheffield are both being charged with Possession of Marijuana.
All suspects were transported to the Kershaw County Detention Center, where they're being held pending a bond hearing.
