Columbia, SC (WLTX) -- Three people have been arrested in connection with the body discovered near Candi Lane early last Tuesday.
Columbia P.D. have arrested Tymeka Lakager Moore, Jimmy Dunbar, Jr., and Yusuf Karim Aquil. All are accused of kidnapping the victim, murdering him, then setting the vehicle on fire.
Shortly after midnight on Tuesday, September 18th, firefighters responded to a brush fire call in the Candi Lane area, just off I-26 near the Saluda River.
When fire crews arrived they discovered the body at that location and called in the Columbia Police Department.
Two hours later, fire crews responded to a vehicle fire on E. Exchange Blvd. The vehicle was a 1996 Chevy S-10 registered to the murder victim.
Dunbar has been charged with murder, 3rd degree arson, kidnapping, armed robbery, criminal conspiracy, and possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony.
Moore is charged with murder, 3rd degree arson, kidnapping, armed robbery, and criminal conspiracy.
Aquil is charged with murder, kidnapping, armed robbery, and criminal conspiracy.
