Columbia, SC (WLTX) - Columbia police say a woman accused of cutting two women at a library lied to police about who she was.
Officers now say the suspect is 42-year-old Monique Tamahr Stroman. Earlier, she was identified by another name. Police say that's because when officers took her into custody, she gave a another persons name.
Officers say Stroman got into a verbal fight with two women inside the Richland County Public Library on Assembly Street. The fight escalated, officers say, and McRae is accused of using a razor to cut the victims on the face.
The victims were taken to the hospital for treatment.
Stroman is expected to be charged with two counts of assault and battery of a high and aggravated nature and providing false information to police.
