Columbia, SC (WLTX) - Columbia Police have arrested one suspect and are searching for two others in the assault of a 21-year-old man last weekend.

Officers say 21-year-old Stanley McBride is charged with second-degree assault and battery. Officers say he was arrested Wednesday on the campus of Benedict College.

Officers also want to find 21-year-old Michael Jermel Kendrix and 21-year-old John Cornelius Sumner. Both men are from suburban Atlanta.

Kendrix and Sumner are students at Benedict College, and CPD says Benedict Police are assisting in the investigation.

Officers say the three men beat up 21-year-old Josh Bosworth early Sunday morning on Harden Street. Bosworth suffered a broken jaw during the incident.

Columbia police says they will continue to investigate, and more arrests could be coming.
