Ex-Lexington Deputy Accused of Criminal Domestic Violence

Lexington County, SC (WLTX) - State Law Enforcement Division agents are accusing a former Lexington County deputy of assaulting a woman.

Agents charged 43-year-old Timothy K. Anglin of Lexington with criminal domestic violence of a high and aggravated nature.

According to an affidavit, Anglin was involved in a verbal fight with a woman. The fight turned physical, according to investigators, and they say he kicked the woman, fracturing her leg.

The affidavit states Anglin admitted to kicking and hurting the woman during an interview on August 29, 2012.

The charge is a felony, and if convicted, he could face between one and ten years in prison.
