Aiken, SC (WLTX) -- The Aiken Department of Public Safety responded to a bank robbery call Tuesday just after 12pm, at the South Carolina State Credit Union located on Beaufort St. NE in Aiken.
According to deputies, the suspect entered the bank through a back door, approached a teller and demanded money. He fled the bank in what is believed to be a late 80's or early 90's red or burgundy Ford Tempo.
The suspect is described as a man in his 30's, medium build, 5' 10" to 6' tall, between 200 and 225 pounds, and was seen wearing a red long sleeved shirt, light colored pants, white sneakers, and a black knit cap.
The suspect covered his face with a grey t-shirt, as can be seen in the provided still images from the Aiken DPS.
