Report: Robbers Tried to Sexually Assault Woman

Lexington County, SC (WLTX) - Lexington County deputies are searching for two men they say broke into a woman's home and tried to sexually assault her.

The incident took place at a home near Dixiana on December 30th.

According to an incident report, the victim reported that she was expecting some family members at her home when she heard a knock on the door. When she answered the door, however, two male suspects entered and hit her in the face with an object.

The victim says one of the suspects held her to the ground while the other one stole her jewelry. One of the suspects told the other one to "knock her out," according to the report.

The document goes on to state that one of the suspects unbuttoned her pants and began pulling them down, but had difficulty taking them off. The woman was screaming and yelling during the incident, and two large dogs that she has came to her rescue. The pets chased the suspects out of the home, and when the men were gone, she called 9-1-1.

The victim said one of the suspects kept referring to the other as "Cabrone."

After the crime, a responding deputies was able to recover some of the stolen jewelry, which had been dropped in the yard.

The victim was able to give law enforcement enough information that they were able to create a composite sketch of one of the suspects.
