Richland County, SC (WLTX) - Richland County deputies raided a club Wednesday night that they say is a nuisance.
Officers entered Club Crush on River Drive after saying they'd gotten repeated community complaints about the place. There have been two shootings reported at the location just this year.
Once inside, officers say they found video gambling machines, marijuana, $12,000 in cash, and hundreds of bottles of liquor.
Sheriff Leon Lott says that over the last two years, deputies have responded to 142 incidents at Club Crush. Lott says his officers have met with the management and owners to discuss the incidents.
The sheriff adds that he and Fifth Circuit Solicitor Dan Johnson want to shut the place down, but say that there's a long civil process for that to happen.
