Terrence L. Dibble (Richland County Detention Center)
Richland County, SC (WLTX) - Richland County deputies have arrested a man they say put a knife to a woman's neck and punched two other people.
Terrence L. Dibble, 41, is charged with one count of assault and battery high and aggravated nature and another charge of assault and battery 3rd degree.
Officers say at 11:30 Tuesday night, they got a call of an incident on Elders Pond Circle in Northeast Richland County.
Investigators determined that a woman was driving down Hard Scrabble Road when she was cut off by Dibble. The woman said she followed Dibble to Elders Pond Circle, where deputies say the suspect stopped, got out his car, and approached her car. Officers say he then pulled her out of her vehicle and placed a knife to her neck.
The victim's son, who was a passenger in the car, got out to help his mother, but deputies say Dibble punched him in the face.
A witness driving by also stopped, and pulled out a gun and pointed it at Dibble. Dibble then put the knife down.
Dibble was found a short time later at Clemson and Old Clemson Road.
