Kershaw County, SC (WLTX) - Kershaw County deputies arrested a man they say was going 107 miles an hour on Interstate 20 while driving drunk.
Officers took 25-year-old Matthew Christopher Temples into custody Friday and charged him with DUI 3rd offense and having open containers of alcohol in his vehicle.
Kershaw County Sheriff Jim Matthews says around 5 p.m. on January 31st, a deputy saw Temples driving a car west on I-20 at a high rate of speed. The officer said the car was weaving in and out of traffic and using the emergency lane to pass other cars.
The deputy stopped Temples, and during a search of the vehicle, reported finding a half-empty bottle of vodka and an open can of beer.
Matthews says Temples blood alcohol level tested at .18.
