Manning, S.C. (WLTX)--Two men have been arrested in connection with a Sunday night shooting in Manning, that left one man dead.
The incident happened just after 10 p.m. at a home along High Hills Lane. That's located just off of Highway 521.
Clarendon County Sheriff's deputies responded to the scene. When they arrived, an incident report indicates they found a man lying on his back in the front yard, and a large crowd of people were around him.
The Clarendon County Coroner had identified the victim as 23-year-old Maurice Conyers of Manning. He'd been shot.
Authorities have arrested 38-year-old Joseph Tindal and 40-year-old Eddie Lee Hilton have been arrested in connection with Conyers' death. Tindal is charged with murder, while Hilton is facing a charge of accessory after the fact.
The men all appear to live on the same street. But it's not clear how they know each other, or what events led up to the shooting.
