Columbia, SC (WLTX) - Marcus Lattimore's freshman season is one of the best ever in South Carolina history.
His 19 touchdowns are a single-season school record. His 1,198 yards is also a single-season school record for a freshman and is third highest total overall.
Lattimore has carried the ball 248 times and not once has he fumbled. "Honestly, I actually had a pretty bad fumbling problem in high school," the super freshman said. "I admit, I carried the ball with one hand a lot." Thankfully Running Back's coach Jay Graham worked with the Byrnes product once he immediately set foot on campus. "He taught me how to hold the ball. The main pressure points," said Lattimore.
