Columbia, SC (WLTX) - Columbia Police busted a traveling crystal meth lab during a routine traffic stop on Millwood Avenue Tuesday night.

Deputies say they stopped the black Mustang GT  at 7:50 p.m. for speeding and became suspicious after talking with the driver.  They then say that the K9 Unit was called, and their investigation discovered the components of a crystal meth lab in the car.

The Drug Enforcement Administration was called to the scene to assist in the investigation.

Investigators say 27-year-old Aaron Lamar Tyler was taken into custody and charged with attempting to manufacture methamphetamine.

A passenger was in the car, but that person was not charged.
