Columbia, SC (WLTX) - USC Students are gearing up for a border bash between the Gamecock and the Georgia Bulldogs.

The two top ten teams will meet Saturday night after Carolina hosts ESPN's College Gameday on the school's Horseshoe, and students couldn't be more excited.

"We've got some sleeping bags, and we're gonna go and kinda just camp out," said USC student Megan Kelly.

"Plans are get show up around two o'clock, stay the night and then get front row on gameday like we did freshman year," explains student John Stathopoulous.

But with a national college football show setting up on campus, USC wanted to remind students that all eyes will be on Carolina.  The school sent out emails, tweets and posted guidelines online.

School officials reminded students of how they should behave, tweeting that students should use the full word Gamecock instead of the shortened "Cocks" on posters, noting the word might keep them from the fan area of the College Gameday show.
"What we might understand with some of our slang, what we might understand in Columbia and we might not think twice about, if you're around the world looking at it, you might say what in the world is going on there," said Jerry Brewer, USC's Associate Vice President of Student Affairs.

Students spent Friday decorating signs on the Horseshoe in preparation for Gameday, playing games, and taking pictures with Cocky, all leading up to a game to remember.

"It's gonna be rowdy in a good way, we're gonna be rowdy excited, not rowdy obnoxious, so we're gonna show Gameday a good time," Brewer said.
