Kershaw County, SC (WLTX)--The South Carolina Highway Patrol is investigating a three car collision that left two dead.
Officials said the crash happened yesterday around 3:05 p.m. on US Highway 1. Reports indicate a Mercury Sable heading North crossed the center line and sideswiped a Dodge Pickup truck traveling South. After hitting that vehicle, the Sable continued on and crashed head on with a Toyota Camry, also heading South.
The drivers of the Sable and Camry died. The driver of the Dodge was taken to Richland memorial. SCHP said his status is unknown. Officials also said the Camry had a passenger who was injured. Their status is also unknown.
The identities of the victims have not been released.
