Columbia, SC (WLTX) - Columbia Police have arrested a man Monday for cooking meth in a home on the 3000 block of Lincoln Street.

Chief Randy Scott says CPD's Drug Suppression Team searched the home after receiving a tip about drug activity going on at the residence.

Officers say they found 36-year old Jerry Ward Galloway making meth inside his parent's house. Officers say that Galloway had meth on him in a plastic bag and they found cooked meth inside a trash can in the backyard.

Galloway is charged with Possession with Intent to Distribute Methamphetamine, Manufacturing Methamphetamine, and Possession of Marijuana. He is being held at the Alvin S. Glenn Detention Center.
