Columbia, SC (WLTX) - The South Carolina Campaign to Prevent Teen Pregnancy is holding their annual conference this week in Columbia.
The two day conference is designed for teen pregnancy prevention professionals, and others who work with young people. This year's keynote address was from Yolanda Moore, a two-time WNBA champion and educator.
The CEO of the SC Campaign tells is that while teen birth rates have been dropping, our state still have one of the highest teen pregnancy rates in the county. It's estimated 17 teenagers give birth every day in the state.
