COLUMBIA, S.C. (AP) - Business and government leaders in Columbia are gathering for a session on economic development.
The North Columbia Business Association and the City of Columbia are hosting the third annual Mayors' Economic Development Luncheon on Tuesday.
The event is taking place at the Student Union Dining Hall at Columbia College.
Organizers say the event is designed for business and government leaders concerned with planning and developing businesses in South Carolina. It provides them with an opportunity to showcase projects from their areas and learn about other ongoing endeavors.
