Driver Killed Saturday on I-20 Identified

Columbia, SC (WLTX) -- The Richland County Coroner's office has identified the driver killed in a single vehicle wreck Saturday afternoon on I-20.

Richland County Coroner Gary Watts reports that the driver, 38 year-old Michael A. Robinson of Batesburg-Leesville, was not wearing a seatbelt when his vehicle struck the guard rail on the eastbound side of I-20 near Broad River Road.

Robinson was ejected from his vehicle, and died from injuries suffered in the wreck.

The South Carolina Highway Patrol continues to investigate this accident.
