Columbia, SC (WLTX) - Even after the big loss this past weekend to Auburn, a lot of USC fans are ready for a return to the Georgia Dome on New Year's Eve.

News19's Sydney Cummins hung out with the guys from 1400 The Team on Monday to see what their callers had to say - and it seems everyone is ready to dominate at the Dome.

Said one, "As far as a great game, that's the only game in that time slot on New Year's Eve, when a lot of eyeballs are on the television.  It's an indoor game in a town with a great atmosphere and guaranteed good weather for our fans, in a city that's close by that offers a lot of things to do at night on New Year's Eve."

For true fans, it seems the ATL offers no bitter memories, only the chance for a terrific game.  "I think it's great.  I wasn't looking forward for them to go back to Tampa and play another boring Big 10 team whatsoever," explained another caller.

If you're thinking about making the trip, chances are you can see the game in person for much less than you could the SEC championship.  Gamecock Club members can submit requests until Friday at 5 p.m. through Gamecocks Online.  If any are left out of the 16,000, those go to regular fans.

As of Monday, Ticketmaster had upper level seats available for $91.50.
