Columbia, SC -- (WLTX) The Midlands picked up some impressive snow amounts, but now the snow has turned into mainly freezing rain.

There is still a Winter Storm Warning in effect until 7 am on Tuesday, motorists are encouraged to stay off the roads, due to the icy conditions. School & Daycare Closings for MondayBusiness Closings for Monday

We will continue to see the chance of freezing rain and or freezing drizzle through Tuesday morning. The Midlands may see an additional accumulation of 1/4" of ice, this will be a major problem Tuesday morning.
