South Carolina Highway Patrol officials say 357 law enforcement agents from the highway patrol, the South Carolina Law Enforcement Division and the Department of Natural Resources are working to respond to winter weather incidents.

Officials say 120 National Guard soldiers are working to assist local responders, and the National Guard Armory in Allendale County has been opened as a warming shelter for those who need a warm place to stay.
