Columbia, SC (WLTX) -- If you'd like to get a taste of the Big Top before the Ringling Bros. & Barnum and Bailey Circus performs this weekend, you can get a chance to see elephants and other animals walk from the circus train to the Colonial Life Arena.

Organizers say the walk begins at 400 Lincoln Street, about 2 p.m. Monday and lasts until 3 p.m., but officials say the time may be flexible due to unknown factors that can affect a train schedule.

Officials say 14 elephants and other animals will be taken from the train to parade from Lincoln Street to Greene Street, left on Greene Street to Gadsden Street, right on Gadsden Street to the University of South Carolina lot behind the arena.

If you'll miss the circus this year, you'll get one more chance to see the animals walk back to the train from the Colonial Life Arena on Sunday at about 7 p.m.
