Muldrow Named SEC Defensive Player of the Year

(WLTX) --- USC senior Sam Muldrow, the school's all-time leader in blocked shots, has been named the SEC Defensive Player of the Year by the league coaches.

Muldrow averaged 3.9 blocks against SEC teams, tops in the conference. Overall, his average of 3.4 rejections was fourth in the country.

USC guard Bruce Ellington was named to the All-Freshman team.

Florida's Billy Donovan earned Coach of the Year honors and Gator forward Chandler Parson was the league's Player of the Year.
