USC safety DeVonte Holloman
Columbia, SC (WLTX) --- USC strong safety DeVonte Holloman was arrested late Friday night on charges of driving under the influence, that according to a South Carolina Highway Patrol spokesman.
Officials say Holloman was taken into custody at a safety checkpoint near Bluff Road and George Rogers Boulevard. He was one of 12 people taken into custody at that same check point according to the Highway Patrol.
A junior, Holloman has played in all 27 games the past two seasons with 12 starts. The former Southe Pointe High School standout started 10 of the 14 games in 2010 and finished as the team's third leading tackler.
