28th Annual Carolina/Clemson Blood Drive Starts Today

Columbia, SC (WLTX) -- An annual friendly competition between the University of South Carolina and Clemson University kicks off today, to help the American Red Cross' Blood Bank.

Held every year on both campuses, the Annual Carolina/Clemson Blood Drive has participation from students, faculty, staff, and alumni of both schools, and fans are invited to participate as well.

The annual Blood Drive Trophy will be awarded to the winning team at the November 24th meeting between USC and Clemson, played this year in Death Valley at Clemson Memorial Stadium.

Donations are running through Friday, November 16th:
