Columbia, SC (WLTX) -- Analysts at the sports net have picked Jadeveon Clowney as one of four candidates for their annual All-American Player Of The Year.
Based upon performance over the regular season, Clowney's name was tossed in the hat as one of the top players for the year.
During the regular season, Clowney recorded 13 sacks, 50 tackles, and 21.5 tackles for a loss.
But his biggest performance may have come in the Outback Bowl against Michigan, when Clowney decleated Michigan running back Vincent Smith. Adding insult to injury, Smith fumbled the ball and Clowney recovered it.
Experts say Clowney is a front runner for the Heisman in 2013, and should be a lock for the #1 pick in the 2014 NFL Draft.
