LCSD Partners With Lex. Co. School Dist. 1 For Shoe Drive

Lexington, SC (WLTX) -- A partnership between the Lexington County Sheriff's Department, Lexington County School District One, and William Knopf, Head Basketball Coach at Glenforest School has been launched to collect new athletic shoes.

Running through March 24th, the drive is looking to collect athletic shoes for youths and older teenagers, and all shoes the Sheriff's Department collects will be given to Samaritan's Feet, a non-profit that provides shoes to children in need worldwide.

New shoes can be donated at the following School District One and Sheriff's Department locations:

  • 111 Lincreek Drive, Columbia

  • South Region Service Center
  • 102 Airport Road, Pelion

  • West Region Headquarters
  • 4079-B Augusta Highway, Gilbert

  • Lexington High School
  • 2463 Augusta Highway, Lexington

  • Lexington Technology Center
  • 2421 Augusta Highway, Lexington
