Pelion, SC (WLTX) -- The Follett Challenge, a contest for innovative education being offered by the Follett Educational Software Company, will award two Grand Prizes of $60,000 in Follett products and services to the winning schools.
Pelion High School in Lexington District One is aiming to win one of the two grand prizes, and has submitted a video entry, but needs votes from the community to help them reach that grand prize.
The video, produced by Pelion High's broadcast production students, highlights Pelion's new Learning Commons, a new "Space for 21st Century Learners," where the school applies technology, content, and creativity that engages students, fosters literacy, and promotes critical thinking.
Pelion is in the running, along with 112 other schools, so they need votes from everyone in the Midlands!
Everyone can vote once per day, and voting closes on March 15th.
