(WLTX) --- Clemson's Prowl-N-Growl Tour was in the Pee Dee Thursday evening with head football coach Dabo Swinney and head basketball Brad Brownell highlighting the event.
The Florence Civic Center was the scene of the event. That facility is just a few miles from West Florence High School, the school that produced former Clemson defensive end Malliciah Goodman.
Goodman was drafted in the fourth round by the Atlanta Falcons, a team looking for some pass rushing help after former Gamecock and Timmonsville native John Abraham was let go in a cost-cutting move.
Swinney says he enjoyed watching Goodman improve each year to the point where he was attractive enough for an NFL team to make him a fourth-round selection.
