Kershaw County, SC (WLTX) - Kershaw County deputies say two suspects pretended to be cable company employees so they could rob a home.
Officers say back on May 22nd at 12 p.m., the men came to a home in Elgin and told the victims that they were there to inspect a cable box. When the homeowners asked to see identification, deputies say the men pulled out guns and forced their way into the home.
Investigators say the men held the couple and a small child at gunpoint while they robbed the family of cash. The suspects left in a black four-door sedan.
Eventually officers developed information that led them to 26-year-old Maurice Williams, who they've charged in the case.
Officers still want to find the second suspect, who is still unidentified.
