Sheriff Deputy Crashes Into Building, No One Hurt

Lexington, SC (WLTX) A Lexington County Sheriff Deputy's car struck a building in Lexington Monday night. 

No one was injured, when Sheriff Deputy Matthew Kyzer's car left the road and struck a building on U.S. 1 as he was responding to a motor vehicle collision call at Gilbert high school, according to John Allard with the Sheriff's department. 

The accident, which is under investigation by the Highway Patrol, happened at 7:40 p.m., on U.S. 1 just outside of the town of Lexington.   

The deputy, who was wearing a seat belt, was not seriously injured.
