Sumter Man Faces Armed Robbery Charges and More

Sumter, SC (WLTX) - Bryan Kenneth Hodge, 29, is hospitalized for injuries sustained in a single vehicle collision after fleeing from officers early this morning.

Hodge fled following an armed robbery of the Sav-Way convenience store in Manning. Hodge entered the store armed with a butcher knife and held the store employee at bay, while stealing an undisclosed amount of cash and a carton of cigarettes. 

Hodge is also connected to two more armed robberies that took place on Saturday in Sumter, at Young's Market and the Town And Country store. Hodge was identified through security video to be the suspect in both robberies. 

Hodge is facing charges for Armed Robbery and failure to stop for blue lights under the jurisdiction from the Manning Police Department, as well as two counts of Armed Robbery from the Sumter County Sheriff's Department.
