(Moncks Corner) -- Two young children found stuffed in trash bags in their mother's Hanahan apartment in July died hours earlier of heat exhaustion in her car. Berkeley County Coroner Glenn Rhoad Wednesday released autopsy results. Sametta Heyward is charged with two counts of homicide by child abuse in the deaths of one-year-old Triniti Campbell and four-year-old Shawn Campbell Junior. Authorities say Heyward went to work and left the children in her car on a day when temperatures climbed into the upper 80s.
