Richland County (WLTX) -- Deputies say they need your help finding a man they say attacked and robbed a man as he sat in his car on Parklane Road in Richland County.
Investigators say 23-year-old Perry D. Gilmore, with the help of 19-year-old Stacardo Grissett, knocked on the victim's car window, asking for loose change at about 7 p.m. on February 5th.
When the victim tried to exit his 2005 Dodge Durango, deputies say Gilmore and Grissett attacked him, stole his wallet and then stole the man's vehicle.
Investigators later located the stolen vehicle two days later in Columbia.
Grissett was arrested previously in a 2004 murder investigation. He was charged with robbery, kidnapping and second degree lynching in the February incident. Grissett is being detained at the Richland County jail on a bond of $100,000.
Investigators say the victim was treated on the scene of the attack for lacerations he suffered.
