Horry County (WLTX) - A PGA Tour golfer from South Carolina has been arrested on a DUI charge.
Dustin Johnson, 24, was arrested Monday morning and booked at the Horry County Jail.
He was released less than a half-hour later on a personal recognizance bond.
Johnson has played two years on the PGA Tour and has won two tournament, both in the last six months. He's considered one of the top up-and-coming stars in pro golf, with career earnings just under $3.4 million.
Johnson is a Columbia native. He was a star of the college team while at Coastal Carolina University.
