COLUMBIA, S.C. (AP) - South Carolina's chief prosecutor is traveling around the state to talk about Internet safety issues.
Attorney General Alan Wilson is hosting officials from Facebook at meetings in Columbia and Greenville on Thursday to talk about ways to safely use the social networking website.
Wilson's office says the event at Richland Northeast High School is focusing on ways that high school students can be safer online. An event at Furman University in Greenville is centered on steps that everyone can take to use the Internet more safely.
Both meetings will be streamed live online at www.SCAG.gov/TownHall.
