Q. I was playing around with the Graph Search feature on Facebook and its scary how much information you can find. Is there a way to make sure my information is safe?

A. I understand your concern. Fortunately, Graph Search has to respect your privacy settings.

Click the padlock icon at the top right of your Facebook page. Click "Who can see my stuff" and make sure "Who can see my future posts?" is set to Friends.

Then below that, click the "Use Activity Log" link. This shows you everything you've posted and anything that has been posted about you.

Go through and remove everything you wouldn't want someone else to see.

And click the Audience Selector icon next to a post to change it to Friends or Only Me if it is set to public.
