Columbia, SC (WLTX) - The 10th annual Riverbanks Botanical Garden is now set for April 19th.
The zoo says from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m., guests can enjoy more than 100 varieties of wine which, as they put it, range from "floral and fruity to dry and nutty."
But it's not just about something to drink--the zoo will also have some food. This year, Hudson's Classic Catering, Liberty Tap Room and Grill, Miyo's, Pearlz Oyster Bar, Riverbanks Catering, Ruth's Chris Steak House, TakoSushi, and Taziki's Mediterranean Cafe will provided appetizers.
The zoo says for entertainment, the Jamie Beresford Band will complement the evening with live jazz. Guests will also have an opportunity to bid on one-of-a-kind silent auction items, and wine experts and vintners will be on hand.
Advance admission prices are $40 for Zoo members and $50 for the general public. Any tickets remaining the day of the event will be $60. All proceeds benefit wildlife conservation and education efforts at Riverbanks. Tickets may be purchased online at www.riverbanks.org or at any ticket window.
