(CBS NEWS) - What if you had your own movie theater aisle where you could tweet to your heart's content? No worrying about disrupting your neighbors with the cell phone's bright light when sneaking in a text or checking to see if you have any.

Following the recent Madonna texting drama at the New York Film Festival comes a report revealing that a few major movie theater chains are mulling a special texting-only row.

According to the U.K.'s Sunday Times, AMC Theatres, among others, had been considering implementing a separate area for people who want to text during the movie. But AMC spokesperson Ryan Noonan told CBSNews.com Monday afternoon the reports are not true , AMC is doing nothing of the sort.

Madonna recently made headlines after the New York Post cited a witness who says the pop singer had been on her Blackberry during the New York Film Festival screening of "12 Years a Slave." After hearing about the supposed incident, the CEO of the Alamo Drafthouse Cinema tweeted that Madonna was "banned" from his theater chain.

Do you think it's OK to text while inside a movie theater? Post your responses below.
