Columbia, SC (WLTX) --- Among the newcomers on USC's squad are two players who are generating the most buzz.
Jadeveon Clowney comes to USC as the nation's clear-cut top-rated prospect coming out of South Pointe High School. The defensive end has displayed the athleticism that made him a force in high school and the coaches have made it clear they will provide plenty of reps for him this fall.
On the other side of the ball is Bruce Ellington who spent last season running the offense for Darrin Horn's basketball team. But Ellington says he has had thoughts for a while about playing both sports and once the hoops season, he made the decision to try both.
Ellington says the adjustment has been smooth and that it's just a matter of becoming more comfortable in the offense.
Ellington added that he feels he can be successful in both football and basketball.
