Orangeburg County, SC (WLTX)- The search continues for a missing Lexington County mother. Meanwhile, the man charged with her murder was in court Monday afternoon.
Kenneth Cutter of North appeared before a judge in the Orangeburg County Courtroom.
The 37-year-old remained emotionless as Judge Derrick Dash read his murder charge.
He is being charged for the death of Kimberly Parrish, a Lexington county mother of two who has been missing for ten days.
Deputies say they found articles of her clothing and DNA evidence in his home.
Investigators say the two were friends for at least four months.
Parrish's family was in court, visibly upset.
They did not speak but had a spokesperson tell the court, "They have not forgotten their loved one."
Orangeburg County Court cannot set bond on murder charges. Cutter will go before a Circuit Court Judge to have his bond set.
Deputies are continuing to use cadaver dogs, boats and air support in their search for Parrish.
Investigators say she disappeared after picking up her paycheck on December 21st at the Helping Hands Care Giver facility.
