Washington, DC (WLTX) -- The Consumer Product Safety Council advises Target customers to discontinue using a certain lasagna pan.
The "Giada de Laurentiis for Target" branded ceramic 9"x13" lasagna pan poses a risk of laceration if it breaks.
The Target company has issued the recall following 39 reports of the pan or the handles breaking or cracking during normal use. Cuts and lacerations were reported in six of those incidents.
Consumers are advised to immediately stop using the recalled lasagna pan and return them to any Target store for a full refund.
Consumers who purchased the pan as part of the six-piece set should return the lasagna pan only.
The pans were sold exclusively by the Target company, in stores nationwide, and online at target.com, from January of 2009 through October of 2012 for about $22 each, or between $35 and $50 for the six-piece sets.
