Clemson, SC (WLTX) - Clemson University police have released pictures and video of a truck they believe is connected to the vandalism of Howard's Rock.
Earlier this month, someone broke the casing that protects the rock, then took off a small portion of the rock.
The video shows the truck arriving and leaving the east side of Clemson Memorial Stadium on June 2nd. City of Clemson cameras also captured images of the truck.
Additionally, police say there is a $5,000 reward for information leading to an arrest and conviction in the case. The Clemson University Athletic Department raised the reward money from private funds.
The rock was first brought to Clemson in 1919 from Death Valley, California. In one of the most famous traditions in college football, Clemson players rub the rock for good luck before running onto the field at home games.
