Orangeburg, SC (WLTX) - The agency in charge of South Carolina State University's accreditation issued a warning to the school, citing finance control issues, conflict of interest in the school board, and external funds.
The school was placed on warning five years ago that was lifted a year later.
S.C. state does have seven years to fix the problem. If they don't comply with the warning they'll be put on probation.
News19 contacted the school but are still waiting for a response.
