Chapin, SC (WLTX) - Chapin police are searching for a man and woman involved in a threat against an employee of a local grocery store.

The incident took place recently at the Bi-Lo at 1419 Chapin Road.

According to police, a Dodge Durango pulled up near an employee of the store. The vehicle was driven by a woman, with the suspect in the passenger seat and a third person in the backseat. The passenger began talking to the employee, and showed a handgun that was tucked in his waistband. Officers say the suspect then threatened the employee with the gun. However, investigators say the female driver told the suspect that that was the wrong person, and the two left the scene.

Police have released surveillance photos from the incident.
