Columbia, SC (WLTX) -- The Richland County Coroner's office has identified a woman who died from a gunshot wound, suffered early Monday morning.
According to Coroner Gary Watts, 33 year old Kelly L. Hunnewell of Columbia was shot early this morning on Tommy Circle in Columbia. That's located off of Beltline Boulevard.
Columbia police were called to the scene by a neighbor. Once there officers contacted the County Coroner's office, who pronounced the victim dead at the scene.
Columbia Police Department continues to investigate the incident.
According to Chief Ruben Santiago, the victim is "a hard working mother, leaving 5 children behind," in a release to the media this evening.
Columbia Police received a call early this morning, reporting the sound of a woman screaming, followed by gunshots.
Police released security camera footage of the three suspects entering the bakery at 93 Tommy Circle in Columbia, along with four still images from the footage.
