Columbia, SC (WLTX)- The City of Columbia Issues a Sanitary Sewer System Overflow Notification to customers.

The City of Columbia is experiencing overflows of Sanitary Sewer at 5081 Brickyard Road and 1400 Peeples Street in Richland County.

The City of Columbia Wastewater Maintenance Division identified the Sanitary Sewer overflows at Saturday afternoon.

Wet weather conditions in the area led to the overflows in the gravity sewer system, these overflows entered Crane Creek. Crane Creek flows into the Broad River.
