Columbia, SC (WLTX) - A Columbia police officer's vehicle and another car collided in downtown Columbia Sunday, sending both drivers to the hospital.
The collision took place around 2:48 p.m. at the intersection of Harden and Taylor Streets.
According to the South Carolina Highway Patrol, a Dodge Charger driving on Harden and a police car driving on Taylor collided in the middle of where the roads meet. At the time of the incident, the police car had its lights and sirens on.
Both drivers were taken to the hospital. Their injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.
Troopers say they have not yet determined who is at fault, and will be reviewing the police car's dash cam to help in their investigation.
