Orangeburg, SC (WLTX) A school bus driver has been charged in an early morning collision in Orangeburg.
Some 37 Marshall Elementary School students and the bus driver were not injured in the accident according to Lance Cpl. Judd Jones of Highway Patrol.
According to Highway Patrol, the 2008 school bus was traveling west on Winningham road at about 7:20 a.m when it pulled in front of a 2013 Toyota that was traveling North on Columbia road.
The 23 year-old driver of the Toyota was transported to Orangeburg Regional Medical Center with possible injuries. The driver of the school bus, Hercules Miller, 74 was charged with failure to yield right of way.
The accident remains under investigation by South Carolina Highway Patrol.
